Jamaican-born Sandi Morais, is a Vegan Chef and the author of Vegan Recipe for Life cook book. She is a graduate from Florida International University with a BA Degree. She also attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Sandi studied with Master Chef Johnny Rivers and Dr. Aris LaTham, Food Scientist and Raw Food Guru. Sandi has demonstrated some of her tasty meals at the Jamaican Jerk Festival, the Tupperware, Central Florida Fair, Mt. Sinai Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and also for various celebrities. Sandi was the VIP Chef at the 2018 Orlando Vegan Festival and she is the Brand Ambassador for Stifinefood Vegan Products.
Sandi has been involved in the health and fitness field for over 25 years. She was the Physical Education teacher at Sunset Christian Academy in Miami, Florida. She hosted and co-produced Sandi’s Workout and ReggaeMuffins children’s fitness show for Miami’s Cable Tap television. Sandi also published Tune-up with Sandi health and fitness book and created the Golden Workout video and Tune-up Total Body workout DVD with music produced by Philip Michael Thomas.
She wrote fitness articles for Wow magazine, Caribbean Contact, Caribbean Today, Caribbean American Passport newspapers, and the biography of cancer survivor Cathee Roach-Connor that was published in a book titled Psalms in the Dance of Life. Sandi also wrote Sacha and the Magic Cookie Maker coloring story book and Sacha on Broadway an original musical with Philip Michael Thomas.
Sandi has been featured in The Miami Herald and various magazines including Onyx, Sister 2 Sister, Ms. Fitness and Natural Awakenings. She has also been featured on NBC 6 South Florida Today, WLRN Channel 17 and New York City TV Profiles with host Micky Burns.
In 2014 Sandi was a guest on The Samy Priso Show on Afrotainment TV in Orlando, and also Point of View on Afrotainment in Orlando . She was featured in the Health and Wellness section of the Caribbean National Weekly newspaper.
